One of the reason we finally started a blog was so our families could see what we actually do here in Milwaukee. I thought it would be enlightening to see our weekly schedules at a glance. This will help explain why we don't post a lot and why when we do post it is not about exciting things we have been up to. Note: We only have one car so as you will notice, a lot of our time involves waiting on campus for the other person to finish. 2nd Note: I make lots of schedules and to-do lists. This is one I use to keep our day-to-day schedules in order.

It's actually not so bad. This also explains why I can't take phone calls during daytime hours and why I forget to call you back. Mondays can be rough but life really goes by very fast. Ever since I started grad school I have had to limit my social life a bit more but I can still fit things in on late nights and weekends. Tim and I get to commute to and from campus everyday together which also gives us about 40 minutes a day to talk or not talk. We both feel very lucky that we have jobs and that Marquette is paying for almost all of our education. Come June Tim's schedule is going to be wide open and he will have all the time in the world, unless he gets a job or something.
My posts are better.
ReplyDeleteMy mom asked me what we do all day so I told her I would post it rather than explain it over the phone. You are just mad because now people will know I am busier than you :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are funny.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow though....I thought I had it rough. You are so freaking busy!!!
And really, it makes me want to barf thinking that your schooling is getting paid for already-I'm way jealous!
Yikes.. You guys are indeed busy. Apparently someone raised organized children. Thanks Anna for the entry. Really. Now I know why you do not answer the phone.
ReplyDeleteBut, sometimes that is the way life is. Not looking at the whole monster chore at hand (because the task may seem insurmountable)we do Monday's task and rest. Then we do Tuesday's task and rest. So lovely to have a partner to forge ahead with.
