FIRST: I have been working at Marquette University for 2 1/2 years now and I have been given some serious perks including tuition remission for Tim to go to law school and full tuition benefits for me to go to grad school. They also pay me and I am surrounded by people I LOVE to work with. On top of all that, they give away free sports tickets all the time for Brewers games, Packers games, MU basketball games, Admirals games, Bucks games, etc. I am not a huge sports fan so I don't usually take them up on the offers but this year I decided I am going to take advantage of this great bonus. Two weeks ago I was given free tickets to the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin. Tim and I got to spend an entire day up at the course walking around and watching the various players. The course was unbelievably beautiful and these pictures don't do it justice. The games were delayed but we ended up basically running into Tiger Woods while he was doing practice putts and then we followed him to the driving range. We were about 15 feet away from him just watching. It was surreal and awesome. You can't take cameras or phones in so here are some pictures of us in the parking lot and some of the course from their website.
SECOND: Today I was leaving work to go to class and I ran into Dwyane Wade on campus and ended up walking next to him to my building. He had a small entourage but I just walked right up next to him and took a picture of his face. Then I was so excited looking at it on my phone that I deleted it. So lame and frustrating but here is another one I took. He is very attractive but not as tall as I thought he would be. I am a fan and I think it is great Marquette continues to provide me with so many unique and exciting experiences.

Gotta love Marquette! Definitely some pretty cool famous people moments! Miss you guys!
