Wisconsin State Fair: A deep fried wonderland

Wisconsin State Fair is a lot bigger than any fair I went to growing up. It has enormous livestock, enormous, people (rude but true), and an enormous list of food on a stick. Over a hundred items to choose from: http://www.wistatefair.com/wp/Food-Category/foods-on-a-stick/

Despite all of that, Tim and I have only been once. It was our first year here, it was 90 degrees, there were way too many people, and Tim was too cheap to want to try all the crazy food. So this year I decided to go with some friends and let Max see the animals, Fitz be exposed to the germs, and I could eat deep fried goodness. The temperatures were better, the crowds were smaller, and the deep fried vegetables and Snickers bar were amazing. I think we might go back again next year.
