Maxisms at 22 Months

A few things I want to remember about Max right now.

What he eats: Oatmeal or cereal and fruit for breakfast. Nutragrain bar, pouch, yogurt for lunch. Chicken nuggets or eggs with fruit for dinner. Veggies are tricky. I still buy fruit/veggie pouches. We try to feed him what we eat but not very successfully. He does love chips and guacamole which is a new development.

What he does: He is loving the warm weather and asks to play outside ALLof the time. It is nice to be able to spend so much time outside with him each day. The main problem is that he runs away and is faster than you would think. When inside he loves puzzles, reading books, watching YouTube clips, and breaking things.

What he says: "Play outside" and "Me running away" are probably the phrases I hear the most in a day right now. He talks a lot about animals, grandparents, cousins, and friends. He loves to sing I'll Will Wait by Mumford and Sons and add different things he will wait for like cereal, lawn mowers, and Elmo.

What he loves: He loves his stuffed animals. Anyone who has spent time with Max has heard him talk about Ruth's Pig and Ruth's Teddy. He loves books. He makes us change the names of everyone in books to the names of his friends from church and play group.

What he is like: He is fun-loving, very loud, loves music, is very social, but has a serious temper and is pretty disobedient on purpose. We are working on it.

I'm pretty in love with the little guy and am a bit nervous to add someone else to our little duo but I think in a few months it will be fun for him to have someone to play with :)

  1. I see you updated your blog during your sick days, good for you! I thought about it these last four days, but always opted to lay on the couch instead. :) Bridget has been walking around saying, "Max, sick." She loves him. :)
