A few weeks ago we went to Iowa to visit Tim's sister Pam and her great family. It was a lot of fun and Max was loving all of the entertainment the cousins provided. Pam and Elijah's kids are very musically talented and Max loves music so he was loving it. Natalie, Zach, Anne Marie and Cassie took turns entertaining him with the piano, violin, trumpet, and dancing. It was wonderful. Max seriously got so excited when they were playing.
We went to a pet store with the family and Max cried a little when we took him to the puppies. This was a little crushing for Tim and I as we have spent hours watching YouTube videos of babies and puppies playing happily together. We had hoped he would find a new best friend. Surprisingly he loved the birds but we aren't really bird people.
Elijah works at John Deere and so we went to go check out the administration building. It has some equipment on display along with a history of the factory. It was pretty cool to see how big everything is and very neat that Elijah actually helps design this stuff.
Thanks for letting us come Pam and family. It was so nice to catch up and have some cousin time for the kids.

ReplyDeleteI'm with Max, birds are so much less intrusive than dogs. Until they poop right on you... that's a little invasive.
