Max in the big UT

We made a very quick trip to Utah last Friday night arriving at midnight and left first thing Sunday morning.  We went to attend Pierce & Amelia Andrew's wedding.  Pierce and Tim were roommates for 3 years at BYU until I took over.  We were thrilled Pierce finally found someone and she is wonderful for him.  My old roommate Katie Duncan was able to babysit Max for us at the Temple.  Oddly enough, Katie and Pierce used to date so it made things even more exciting. 

It was a beautiful fall day and the sealing ceremony was very sweet.  It was nice to be back at the SLC Temple.  However, Tim commented that we can never move back there because there are too many Mormons...whatever that means...

 

We were also able to squeeze in some visits with family and friends during our 48 hour trip.  It was too short but very fun...and a little exhausting.

We had a very special visit with Tim’s grandmother Helen.  She and Tim have always been close and she was so happy to finally meet Max.  He thought she was pretty great and gave her lots of smiles.

 Hannah, Canyon, Bo and Katelin were able to come meet us at my sister’s to have some chatting time.  I miss them so much and I loved seeing them even though it was only for an hour or two.  Max and Bo are second cousins and if things go according to plan, they will be best friends for life.

 

 My mom, brother Sam, and my sister-in-law Natalie all came up to my sister’s house to meet the little man.  Sam is in the background, sorry we didn't get better pics together. 

Here is Grandma Jackie with the Hodson grandkids and Max.  This was very early Sunday morning, sorry Mom but this is pretty cute.  No pictures of Sarah, again.  We need to work on this.
