Photo Shoot Drama

Tim is cheap.  It's a fact that has been proven time and time again.  Becoming a bankruptcy attorney has only made it worse.  I really wanted to get some professional photos of Max as a newborn.  Tim however felt it was a waste of money and said he could do just as good a job and save the money.  Sadly, this argument went on for too long and we didn't get the newborn pictures of Max I wanted.  You know, the kind where you can cram their little bodies inside a basket and they don't even notice because they are sound asleep?  Well, last week Tim finally attempted to take some pictures. We borrowed my friend Megan Gubler's very nice camera.  Tim only lasted about 15 minutes and then got bored of taking pictures.  When I returned the camera, Megan offered to take a few pictures and I accepted.  Max screamed for about half the time and ate for about half the time and Megan still managed to get some wonderful shots. 

Here are some of Tim's pictures.  They are very cute and I really like them but if this were a competition, Megan would win.  I think Max looks so much like Tim (and his uncle Alex).  He is 7 weeks old, 13.2 lbs, and bald.  I have also noticed his ears are starting to stick out more just like the rest of the Hassells.  How did that happen?

 Here are Megan's pictures.  These are wonderful and I love them :)  I want to get large prints and put them all over our apartment.  Thank you Megan for putting up with a very mad Max.  Megan even made the cute beanie for Max's fat head.  Megan has a fireplace she filled with logs and a great rug in front.  I want to hire Megan to decorate my house...when I have a house.  Don't let Max fool you in these pictures by looking so cute and calm.  He threw a fit almost the entire time.
