Sewing Project
So I bought a sweater off of eBay last winter, but when I got it the sleeves were pretty baggy. Apparently the previous owner thought he could squeeze into a medium. Basically the sweater was unbearable, so I put it away on the sewing shelf for Anna to fix. Then I remembered yesterday that Anna stinks at sewing and trying new things in general, so if this was going to get done, I was going to have to do it myself. I didn't "sweat" it though. I realize now I should have taken a before shot, because it was in pretty bad shape. Just imagine twice the amount of fabric in the bicep area. Anyways, I took both sleeves off and slimmed them down quite a bit and then reattached them. It's not perfect, but I think it will work. Here's the final product:

I am impressed that you fixed the sleeves yourself... however, did you consider that the bicep area of the sleeves were supposed to be that big and maybe your arms were too small? lol! J/K :)
ReplyDeleteFor sure Katie!
ReplyDeleteTim got it backwards. His biceps were too small for the size medium sweater :(
Um, if anyone stinks at sewing that would be me, NOT Anna. Hurumph. Pretty sure she made you a fabulous Christmas stocking, punk. :)
ReplyDeleteLibby just asked why Tim is wearing a sweater like hers? Good question.
